For Adults

Golden Meadows Book Talk: Calling all residents of Golden Meadows the librarian is coming! Join Alex for a social hour on the 4th Wednesday of the month.  Alex will lead the discussion as the group talks about the books they've been reading. She will also share ones she thinks will be of interest to everyone.  Alex brings a bag full of books to choose from or call the library and request some books to be delivered that Wednesday. For avid readers or a person who is looking for a place to start, this is an event you don't want to miss!

Delivery for the Home-bound: This service offers delivery of Library materials to Manson residents who are home-bound or residing in a care center and are unable to visit the Library. Simply call 712-469-3986 and ask for Alex to request your books!

Book Club: Avid readers will want to join our book club to share their thoughts. We meet on the 4th Thursday of each month at 6:30 pm in the library meeting room (unless otherwise noted). Readers will be given a genre/theme, and they get to choose the book they want to read. Books contained in the library or personal books are acceptable. (Audio books count too!) We will meet and discuss the books everyone has read.

Game Night: Join us for a fun-filled evening every month on the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Thursday at 6:30 pm. Games are provided, but you are welcome to bring your own favorites.
